a way to not only track the successes you achieve along the way but to preset
what some of those goals should be. No
matter if your goal is to lose weight; go back to school; or renovate a room in
your house; the software that we are developing will help you reach your goal
by outlining the steps and milestones you have to reach and giving you a boost
by showing you how far you’ve come.

I really like the idea of having a tracker like that for long term goals. I have noticed that very often it easy to lose sight of a goal or feel overwhelmed at the amount of work that goes into getting it completed. This would help alleviate that added stress to some degree I think. This is a very interesting idea.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very unique idea, different from others I have read about! I think it would be really popular and would be something really widespread that someone could use for a lot of different reasons whether it be fundraising or a personal goal. It could even keep track of spending, and could help people budget more. This could widen your target market to college students who have trouble savings money. There's definitely a lot of place you could take this idea.

ReplyDeleteGreat post! Me being a very organized and goal oriented person, I find your idea to be very helpful. Keeping goals is great, but a means to outline the steps of your goal would prove to be even more helpful. I also agree that it would give people a boost of confidence when they see how far they have come rather than hinder them.

ReplyDeleteGood work on this, I like the idea of having multiple task being monitored and setting goals and priorities and I think that you really addressed that this software will be unlike anything else. When I first read your description I didn't think anything of your product but after you questions I think it would be a fantastic idea.
